Actually in London

Hello Hello!
I finally found Internet after a long LONG few days attempting to find an internet cafe. Thank baby jesus my roommate and I found a Library close to our classroom.
First impressions: Gorgeous, darling. But for serious. The weather has not been above 75 degrees (I'm still in F).
Also, public Transit i.e. the TUBE. We need one. Seattle would be easy as pie to navigate with an underground system like the one in London. Why the heck didn't the city planners just build a flippin' Tube?
Sights: we went out yesterday. Kind of. Imagine seeing the entirety of London in a 3 hour trip following the quickest old man I have ever met in my life. I sprinted through London. Past Buckingham palace, White Hall, through Oxford Street, past the numerous squares, through the British Museum (literally through, we did not look we started at the back where we discussed the architectural significance and then sprinted through to the front to once again discuss the architectural aspects of the building.), to West Minister Abbey then Parliament where we came to Big Ben which is not actually the tower... just the bells. Who da thunk? Then to Piccadilly Circus and finally Covent Garden. Jolly good.
Also, I think this is the first time I have ever had to repeat myself because someone "couldn't understand my silly accent."
Alright, loves, I need to do some mo' exploring.
Cheers!

  1. omfg. not above 75?! so jealous. because yesterday was the hottest day recorded in seattle history... 104 degrees. it was hotter outside THAN INSIDE MY BODY where all sorts of useful exothermic chemical reactions are happening. WTF. it is cooler today, and by cooler, i mean mid-80s heading toward 90s. you blew this popstand right on time. also, i goddamn love you.
